Wellcome to my blogg about fornminnen, a Swedish term that literally translates to ancient memories. The term is used to describe a place of cultural importance, ancient monument or an object created by man in the past. That’s exactly what this blog is going to be all about.

Why the Swedish name then? That’s because I am a Swede living in the province of Värmland, Sweden. The main focus of this blog will be Scandinavia, simply because that’s where I live, but I will not limit myself to a specific area. I chose to write in English for the simple reason that I want to share our past with the world. Making little known places available for everyone who wants to learn more or to visit the place featured here.
